To deepen tech innovation collaboration between Guangzhou and Hong Kong, and capture emerging GBA opportunities driven by the convergence of AI and the construction industry in the China’s Greater Bay Area (GBA), the 2026 Guangzhou "Tech Innovation Afternoon Tea" Hong Kong Session was successfully held on June 8. Leveraging the momentum of the E&M I&T Day in Hong Kong, it took place at the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department (EMSD) Headquarters in Kowloon Bay, Hong Kong. The session established a highly efficient matchmaking platform, fostering dynamic exchange between top-tier tech enterprises and scientific research institutions from both regions.
Guided by the Service Center for Enterprise Innovation (SCEI), and co-hosted by the Guangzhou Association For Science & Technology (GZAST) and the Hong Kong EMSD, the event drew over 130 elite representatives. This high-profile gathering converged key government authorities, top-tier universities, leading research institutes, premier tech-innovation enterprises, and prominent investment institutions from Guangzhou and Hong Kong.

Notably, the speaker cited Saite Intelligence as a prime example of Guangzhou's tech-innovation enterprise deeply cultivating the GBA and successfully expanding into the Hong Kong market, thereby fully affirming the company’s innovation capabilities and industrial value.
